Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees circulating air.
  2. For the dough:
  3. Melt the chocolate and butter in a water bath so that small pieces of whole chocolate remain. Mix the sugar with the almonds, the eggs and the baking powder and half a packet of vanilla sugar and a small pinch of salt and add the butter and chocolate mixture. Put the finished mixture in a normal (26cm), lightly greased springform pan and bake for about 20 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, mix the cream with the other half a packet of vanilla sugar and whip until stiff. Then stir in the quark. Cut the strawberries into small pieces and carefully stir in the cream and quark mixture.
  5. Take the finished cake out of the oven and let it cool down slightly (leave it in the springform pan!).
  6. Then spread the strawberries with the quark-cream mixture on the cake and add the meringue, broken into pieces, as desired.
  7. Let the cake cool well in the pan!
