First soak the 4 sheets of gelatine in cold water. Then cut the strawberries into small pieces, put them in a tall container, add the powdered sugar and puree with a hand blender.
Gently heat the orange liqueur or orange juice in a saucepan and soften the squeezed gelatine. Add the cream to the strawberry mixture and mix again briefly (only briefly, the cream shouldn`t become stiff). Add the orange gelatin mixture to the cream and strawberry mixture, stir briefly. Use a whisk or briefly use the hand blender again.
Fill the mixture into 4 ceramic molds (or molds of your choice) and leave to set in the refrigerator for at least 3-4 hours. Before serving, it is best to dip the molds briefly in hot water until the mixture loosens slightly from the edge, this makes it easier to turn it over.
Tip:
You can also add the pulp of a vanilla pod to the mixture.
