Strawberry-orange Panna Cotta

Ingredients

  • 250 g strawberries, fresh, alternatively frozen
  • 50 g powdered suar
  • 300 ml cream
  • 4 sheets gelatin
  • 50 cl orange liqueur or orange juice

Instructions

  1. First soak the 4 sheets of gelatine in cold water. Then cut the strawberries into small pieces, put them in a tall container, add the powdered sugar and puree with a hand blender.
  2. Gently heat the orange liqueur or orange juice in a saucepan and soften the squeezed gelatine. Add the cream to the strawberry mixture and mix again briefly (only briefly, the cream shouldn`t become stiff). Add the orange gelatin mixture to the cream and strawberry mixture, stir briefly. Use a whisk or briefly use the hand blender again.
  3. Fill the mixture into 4 ceramic molds (or molds of your choice) and leave to set in the refrigerator for at least 3-4 hours. Before serving, it is best to dip the molds briefly in hot water until the mixture loosens slightly from the edge, this makes it easier to turn it over.
