Instructions

  1. Cook the bulgur according to the instructions on the package.
  2. Peel off the rhubarb and cut into pieces about 4 cm long. Bring to the boil with the apple juice and simmer until soft. Add vanilla sugar, sweeten with sweetener to taste.
  3. Wash and clean the strawberries and cut into small pieces.
  4. Drain the bulgur. Remove the rhubarb from the heat, stir in the bulgur and then fold in the strawberry pieces. No more cooking. It is best to let the bulgur-rhubarb mixture cool down a bit beforehand so that the strawberries stay fresh.
  5. Sufficient for 1 person as a main course or as a dessert for 4 to 6 people.
