Instructions

  1. Of course, all ingredients can also be used not wholesome, this does not change the preparation.
  2. In a bowl, knead the dough ingredients well with your hands to form a smooth dough until it no longer sticks to your hands. Wrap in foil and place in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  3. Melt the butter in a saucepan and roast the sunflower seeds in it until they turn lightly brown. Add powdered sugar, cinnamon and cream and stir well. Simmer for a few minutes until the mixture thickens slightly.
  4. Preheat the oven to top / bottom heat 200 degrees, circulating air 170 degrees, gas mark 3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured work surface and cut out stars. Spread the topping on top with a teaspoon. Bake the stars for 15-18 minutes. The surface runs a little - but it is intentional. This gives the cookies a super tasty crunchy edge.
