Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic, clean and slice the mushrooms, chop the meat.
Fry the meat in oil, remove it, then fry the onions and garlic until translucent, add the mushrooms, dust with paprika, sweat a little, deglaze with the cream and stock. Thicken with starch or sauce thickener, add the meat again and season the sauce to taste.
Cut the baguette into slices, grate the cheese, whisk together the milk and eggs and season with nutmeg.
Pour the sliced meat into a flat baking dish, cover with slices of bread, sprinkle with the grated cheese and pour the egg milk over it.
Bake at 200 ° C for about 30 minutes.
