- Whisk the milk with the eggs well, then pour over the bread and let it steep.
- In the meantime, dice the onions and garlic and sauté in the butter. Mix with the bread mixture.
- Briefly blanch the chard in boiling water, drain and chop finely. Add to the dumpling mass together with the spices and mix everything well.
- Shape the mixture into small dumplings and let them steep in gently boiling salted water for 15 minutes.
- If the mixture is too soft, a little flour should be added before shaping the dumplings.
- Pour browned butter over the finished dumplings and serve sprinkled with parmesan.
