Instructions

  1. It is best to prepare the rice in a rice cooker, take about 1 cup of rice and a little more water per person.
  2. Clean and wash the spinach several times, remove the very coarse stalks, the small stalks can be left or cut into 3 cm long pieces. Drain.
  3. Cut a 2-3 cm piece of ginger into fine strips, about the size of a match. I don`t peel the ginger. Add the ginger to the spinach.
  4. Coarsely crush the peeled garlic cloves and the chili peppers together in a large mortar. Be careful, they are very spicy, it is better to take less in the beginning.
  5. Heat 2-3 tablespoons of sunflower oil in a large pan, fry the garlic and chilli peppers briefly for a maximum of 30 seconds, then add the spinach with the ginger, fry for about 2 minutes while turning. When the spinach has collapsed, immediately remove the heat and add the soy sauce. Bring to the boil briefly, mix with the spinach, add a sip of water if necessary, mix.
