Peel the cucumber, cut in half, remove the seeds and cut into small pieces.
Peel and cut the tomatoes into eighths.
Heat the butter in a large saucepan. Braise the tomatoes in it. Add 500 ml (spicy) broth and let it simmer for 30 minutes over high heat. After 15-20 minutes add the cucumbers.
In the end, be careful that nothing burns! Add pepper and basil.
