Put 18 tablespoons of milk in a bowl. Bring the rest of the milk with the tonka bean and 1 packet of vanilla extract to the boil for approx. 10 - 15 minutes.
Mix the cornstarch with 125 to 150 g sugar (depending on your taste). Gradually add the cornstarch and sugar mixture to the milk in the bowl and stir well. Preferably with a hand mixer. Add the egg yolks and mix well with 1 packet of vanilla extract.
Bring the milk to the boil once, then add the vanilla pudding mixture to the milk and stir well until a thick mixture forms.
Pour the pudding into a bowl (if you want), let it cool and serve with various fruits and possibly with whipped cream.
