Instructions

  1. The sour cream mug or a correspondingly large mug serves as a measure for the mug. Beat 1 cup of sugar and 3 eggs until frothy, add 1/2 cup of oil, then 1 cup of flour, 1 cup of nuts and 1 pack of baking powder and 1 pack of vanilla sugar and finally 1 cup of sour cream.
  2. It is said that silicone baking molds are not greased. So that the train doesn`t get stuck in the mold 100% and is beautiful, I oiled the mold and sprinkled it with breadcrumbs, only then poured the dough into the mold. The dough will still rise, so don`t fill it in all the way to the brim. Bake at 180 ° C for approx. 20 - 25 minutes.
  3. After baking, cut the cake straight off if it is still in the shape. Let cool down very well. I do it upside down with the floor / wheels facing down. Only remove carefully from the mold after it has completely cooled down.
  4. To decorate e.g., cover with icing, possibly color the icing for the different wagons with food coloring in different colors. Use gummy bears as passengers. Glue on Smarties as tires with liquid couverture.
