Instructions

  1. Peel the onion and chop finely. Chop the basil. Soak the roll in a little water in a bowl, squeeze it out well and put it in a bowl with the other ingredients. Squeeze the garlic. Knead all ingredients together well and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Shape small balls with your hands and bake in enough oil over medium heat until golden brown. Swirl the pan several times so that the balls brown evenly.
  3. The balls taste cold or warm and are ideal for a buffet.
  4. We also like to use spicy steak mustard instead of ordinary mustard.
