Instructions

  1. Peel the onions and cut into thin rings. Melt the butter in a saucepan and sauté the onion rings until translucent. Add the ham cubes and continue to cook for a few minutes. Add the flour and stir-fry for 3 minutes.
  2. Gradually stir in the meat broth and then pour in the milk while stirring. Season the soup with the grated thyme and cook over low heat for 20 minutes.
  3. Wash, dry and cut the chives. Season the soup with the sugar, salt, pepper from the mill and nutmeg. Sprinkle with the chives and serve immediately.
