Instructions

  1. Mix the butter with the sugar, pudding powder and the egg. Mix the flour with the baking powder. Gradually add to the mixture and use the dough hook of a hand mixer to make coarse crumbles. Cover and refrigerate until further processing.
  2. Peel the apples, remove the core and chop them into small cubes. Then mix well with the rum flavor, lemon juice, vanilla sugar and cinnamon. Grease a springform pan (26 cm) and dust with flour. Press half of the crumble dough into the mold, pulling up a little at the edge. Pour in the apple mixture and smooth it out. Now spread the remaining batter over the apples as a crumble.
  3. Bake in a preheated oven at 160 ° C for about 50 minutes, possibly increasing the temperature to 180 ° C for the last 15 minutes.
  4. Remove the cake and sprinkle with a powdered sugar and cinnamon mixture to taste. Tastes particularly good lukewarm.
