Ingredients
- 250 g flour
- 125 g butter
- 150 grams sugar
- 25 g custard powder (vanilla)
- 0.5 ½ pack baking powder
- 1 egg (s)

- 3 drops rum flavor
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon (slightly heaped teaspoon)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice

- Mix the butter with the sugar, pudding powder and the egg. Mix the flour with the baking powder. Gradually add to the mixture and use the dough hook of a hand mixer to make coarse crumbles. Cover and refrigerate until further processing.
- Peel the apples, remove the core and chop them into small cubes. Then mix well with the rum flavor, lemon juice, vanilla sugar and cinnamon. Grease a springform pan (26 cm) and dust with flour. Press half of the crumble dough into the mold, pulling up a little at the edge. Pour in the apple mixture and smooth it out. Now spread the remaining batter over the apples as a crumble.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 160 ° C for about 50 minutes, possibly increasing the temperature to 180 ° C for the last 15 minutes.
- Remove the cake and sprinkle with a powdered sugar and cinnamon mixture to taste. Tastes particularly good lukewarm.
