Grease a small casserole or cake tin with margarine and preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
Put corn flour, wheat flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl and mix together. Add the remaining liquid ingredients and stir everything until a smooth dough is formed.
Pour the batter into the mold and bake for 30 minutes. Do a chopstick test to check that it is all the way through.
The bread is a great accompaniment to chillies, but also to colorful pan-fried vegetables, etc.
