Drain the kidney beans well using a sieve, then mix or mash the drained kidney beans together with the oat flakes, wholemeal spelled flour, tomato paste and mustard. This works with the food processor, but also with a fork or with your hands.
Season to taste with salt, pepper and paprika.
Shape the mixture into 4-6 patties.
Heat olive oil in a large pan and fry the patties for about 3 minutes on each side.
