Instructions

  1. So that I have the fresh cake on Sunday mornings, I program the BBA and do the preparations the evening before.
  2. Melt the butter in the warm milk-yoghurt mixture, put it in the baking pan, add about 1 spoonful of honey or sugar and dissolve the yeast in it. Let this mixture rise covered for about 1/4 - 1/2 hour. Add the grain, which has been finely ground in the meantime, the remaining honey or sugar, salt, the egg, the nuts and raisins. Pre-program the BBA in the normal program.
  3. The next morning the sweet bread smells already when you get up - hmmm!
  4. Important:
  5. Milk and yoghurt must make a total of about 1/2 l.
  6. You can also mix honey and sugar and vary the amount according to personal taste.
  7. You can replace the walnuts with almonds or other nuts.
  8. The raisins must be soaked in calvados at least a week in advance.
  9. If you don`t like alcohol, the raisins can be soaked in apple juice. If you don`t like raisins that much, take less or none at all, instead I can easily imagine a chopped apple.
