I suggest baking waffles! Not the usual thin and crisp, but lush and soft Viennese. On cottage cheese, with the aroma of orange and cinnamon – ruddy beauty!
Put cottage cheese, sugar, eggs, sour cream, zest and spices in the bowl of the food processor. Add a pinch of salt and pulse until smooth.
Pour in flour sifted with baking powder, pour in vegetable oil.
Punch again until a thick, homogeneous dough forms. Let stand for 15 minutes.
Bake waffles in a special waffle iron until golden brown. Place the finished waffles on the wire rack so as not to soften too much. There are a lot of waffles.
Serve the waffles with honey or syrup, berries or ice cream to your liking.
