Instructions

  1. Put the sunflower seeds, sesame seeds and flax seeds in a large bowl and pour hot water over them. Close the bowl with a lid and leave the grains to soak, preferably overnight.
  2. Add the wholemeal spelled flour and salt to the bowl with the soaked grains and mix everything together.
  3. Put the yeast with the sugar in a beaker and gradually add 500 g of lukewarm water until the yeast has completely dissolved. Finally, add apple cider vinegar to the yeast water and add everything to the flour in the bowl. Using a hand mixer, mix all the ingredients with the dough hook to make a homogeneous dough.
  4. Cover the dough and let rise for two hours at room temperature.
  5. Grease a large bread pan with butter or margarine, pour the dough into the baking pan and let rise for another two hours.
  6. Put the dough in the cold oven and bake at 200 ° C top / bottom heat for about 60 minutes. Remove the bread from the mold and bake for another 10 to 15 minutes without a baking pan.
  7. Let the finished bread cool on a rack.
  8. The baking time varies depending on the oven and baking pan. If necessary, prick the bread with a wooden stick to check whether the dough sticks to it. In this case, bake the bread a little more.
