- Prepare twist-off glasses. Put the apples and plums in a large saucepan with the water, lemon juice, honey and preserving sugar and bring to the boil.
- Then simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring again and again, until the mixture (especially the apple pieces) is soft.
- Now puree with a hand blender (you can also use a simple hand mixer if the fruits are soft enough).
- Then season with cinnamon and nutmeg.
- Simmer for about a minute and then quickly pour into the clean screw-top jars.
- Close the jars and turn them upside down. Turn over after 5 minutes and let cool.
