Peel the onions and garlic. Peel the apples and cut out the cores.
Cut the onions, garlic and apples into fine pieces and sauté in the butter over a low heat. Add honey, white wine, tomatoes with liquid and the spices. Cook in a closed saucepan over medium heat for 25 minutes.
Puree the soup and season with salt and pepper. Pour the hot soup into plates or cups and sprinkle with sesame and thyme.
