For the dough, knead the marzipan, powdered sugar, almonds, cinnamon and 3 egg whites together in a bowl.
Then roll out the dough about 5 mm thick. That goes well on powdered sugar. Then cut out stars. Always dip the star shape in powdered sugar every now and then so that the dough doesn`t stick. Place the stars on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
For the icing, sieve the powdered sugar, beat the 2 egg whites until stiff and stir carefully with the powdered sugar and a little lemon juice (amount to taste). However, the pouring must not become too runny, it should have a very viscous consistency. So that the stars coat thickly.
Bake in the preheated oven at approx. 150 ° top / bottom heat (130 ° C fan oven) for approx. 15 minutes. I always use top and bottom heat.
