Found a simple and delicious recipe for yeast dough cakes with onion filling! We repeated it – and it worked. Onion cakes are fragrant, soft and very beautiful. Prepared from simple products. Good for breakfast, lunch and dinner!
Pour yeast, sugar and a couple of tablespoons of flour into warm milk – this will be a dough. Mix and leave for 7-8 minutes.
Then combine the flour and salt. Pour dough and melted butter into flour, add eggs. We mix.
We knead the dough. Knead for 7-10 minutes. At the beginning, the dough will stick, grease your hands with oil and continue. The dough should be soft. Cover the dough with foil and let it double (40-60 minutes).
During this time, we will prepare the filling for the cakes.
Cut the onion into thin strips.
Fry the onions in a little vegetable oil. Fry until light golden. Season the onions with salt and pepper. Let the filling cool.
The yeast dough rose great! We crush lightly and divide into 10 equal parts (I have 98 g each). We form koloboks, cover with foil and let stand for 10 minutes.
From each piece we make a cake with small sides, the dough is easily formed by hand. We transfer the cakes to a baking sheet, oiled and sprinkled with flour.
Put 1 tablespoon in the center of each cake. spoonful of onion filling.
Grease the edges of the cakes with yolk mixed with milk.
Immediately put the cakes with onions in a preheated oven. We bake onion cakes in the oven for 20 minutes, temperature – 200 degrees.
