Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees top / bottom heat.
  2. Beat the yoghurt, oil, flavoring ingredients, sugar, salt and eggs into a foam mixture. Mix the flour and baking powder and stir into the foam mixture. Pour the dough into a greased loaf pan or wreath pan and bake for about 55 minutes.
  3. Since every oven bakes differently, please make a chopstick test. If the cake gets too dark, simply cover it.
  4. Mix the powdered sugar with the lemon juice and coat the cooled cake with it.

  6. Instead of lemon zest and juice, the cake can also be prepared with orange.
