Preheat the oven to 175 degrees top / bottom heat.
Beat the yoghurt, oil, flavoring ingredients, sugar, salt and eggs into a foam mixture. Mix the flour and baking powder and stir into the foam mixture. Pour the dough into a greased loaf pan or wreath pan and bake for about 55 minutes.
Since every oven bakes differently, please make a chopstick test. If the cake gets too dark, simply cover it.
Mix the powdered sugar with the lemon juice and coat the cooled cake with it.
Tip:
Instead of lemon zest and juice, the cake can also be prepared with orange.
