Instructions

  1. First wash the fish fillet (I usually take what is currently on offer) and then cut it into cubes. If you want, you can mix the fish with a little lemon juice and season it with salt and pepper.
  2. Wash the zucchini and cut into slices or strips. Peel and chop the onions. Peel and chop the garlic cloves.
  3. First put the zucchini in a not too small pan with some heated oil and fry for about 3-4 minutes. Then add onions and garlic and sauté briefly. Then add the peeled tomatoes and simmer for about 5 minutes. Now place the fish on the vegetables, close the pan with a lid and cook the fish over low heat for a good 5 minutes. Season with salt, pepper and a little sugar (if you like it a little spicy, you can also add a little Tabasco or Sambal Oelek). Then carefully fold in the fish before serving. If you want, you can now add some parsley to the dish.
  4. Rice or potatoes or another delicious, suitable side dish goes very well with this. It also tastes delicious with a baguette.
