Wash and clean the zucchini and cut lengthways into 6 slices each. Blanch in boiling salted water for about 2 minutes and rinse in cold water.
Press the garlic through a press, mix with oregano, olive oil, balsamic vinegar and salt and pepper. Brush the zucchini slices with the sauce, cover each with a halved ham slice. Sprinkle with cheese, roll up and stick on a toothpick.
Nice little starter, (in larger quantities) an ideal party snack and also suitable for an antipasti / tapas buffet.
