Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the zucchini, it is processed with the peel. A small zucchini can be completely processed. In the case of large zucchinis, remove the inner core a little when portioning. Cut the zucchini into pieces that correspond to larger fries.
  2. Put the egg in a deep plate and whisk. Also fill a deep plate with breadcrumbs and mix with the sea salt and pepper and the thyme.
  3. Preheat oven to 200 degrees.
  4. First pull the zucchini pieces through the egg and then bread them. You can also bread it twice, just do it the way you like it. The zucchini in my picture are simply breaded.
  5. Place the breaded zucchini on a baking sheet (preferably with baking foil) and put into the preheated oven and bake until the breading turns brown. Depending on the size of the pieces, this takes about 30 - 40 minutes.
  6. You can do without fat completely. If you don`t want to do without it for reasons of taste, simply put some olive oil on top.
