Ingredients

  • 5 bell pepper (s)
  • 250 g minced meat
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 50 g rice
  • 2 tomato (s)
  • salt and pepper
  • Parsley, chopped, or dill
  • water

Instructions

  1. Wash the bell peppers, press the stem base inwards and pull out or cut off. Dice the onion and a tomato and mix with the minced meat and washed rice. If you like it more aromatic, you can also add chopped parsley or dill. Season the meat mixture with salt and pepper and fill it with the paprika.
  2. Cut the second tomato into thick slices. The tomato slices are placed on top of the pepper opening as a lid. Put the filled peppers in a saucepan, add 1 glass of lightly salted water and cook over medium heat for 30 minutes.
  3. Serve the beaver dolmasi with flatbread. You can also grill the stuffed peppers in the oven.
