Ingredients

  • 150 g milk, body temperature
  • 15 g yeast, fresh
  • 3 g salt
  • 15 g honey
  • 5 g vanilla suar
  • 250 g flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ cinnamon
  • 1 apple, diced
  • Milk, for brushing

Instructions

  1. Stir the yeast with salt and honey until the yeast becomes liquid. Stir in the milk and vanilla sugar. Mix flour with cinnamon and pour milk into it. Knead a little, knead in the apple cubes, possibly add flour until the whole thing is a powdery ball. Cover with a damp tea towel and leave to rest for 30 minutes.
  2. Cut into 4 parts, shape each into a ball, flatten it a little, place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, cover and let rise for another 15 minutes.
  3. Heat the oven to 180 °, insert the tray and bake for about 20 minutes. For a nicer surface color, brush with milk before baking.
