Ingredients

  • 2 rolls, (wheat toasties)
  • 2 slices Gouda cheese
  • 2 leaves iceberg lettuce
  • 2 slices chicken schnitzel
  • Flour
  • 1 egg (s)
  • breadcrumbs
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. First, salt and pepper the chicken on one side. Whisk the egg. First turn the chicken fillet in flour, then in the egg and then in the breadcrumbs. Put the chicken in a pan at a slightly higher temperature in margarine for about 6 minutes fry, turning every two minutes. Roast the toastie, both slices, at the same heat until it is lightly browned. Quickly place the cheese on the toastie and let it melt slightly. Wash the lettuce and put it on the toastie, then put the chicken on top. I just like to put some mayonnaise on it. You could put ketchup, tomato or bacon on top.
