Ingredients

  • 250 g blueberries
  • 250 g blackberries
  • 4 orange (s)
  • 250 g strawberries
  • 250 g carambola (s), ripe
  • 0.5 ½ small pineapple
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoon corn flour
  • 6 clove (s)
  • 2 sticks cinnamon
  • 4 leaves, (orange)
  • 2 sticks lemongrass

Instructions

  1. First the orange is peeled and cooked. In the meantime, you should first process the blueberries, then the blackberries, into juice in the food processor, pour the juices together in a saucepan and put them on to the boil. Little by little water is added. When the drink boils, cornmeal, cloves, cinnamon sticks, and sugar are added.
  2. Besides, the herbs should be washed and boiled well. The water in which these were boiled is then added to the colada. You should keep the Colada simmering. Then finally pineapple, star fruit and strawberries are added. Let the whole thing cook a little longer and the Colada Morada is ready.
  3. This drink can now be served warm or cold. You can also add sugar or ishpingo to taste.
