Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Dough:
  2. Beat the eggs with the sugar for at least 5 minutes until frothy. Sifted in the flour and baking powder and stir well. Then briefly stir in the milk and oil.
  3. Put the dough in a greased and flour-dusted cake pan of size 40 by 25 cm.
  4. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C top / bottom heat. Bake the cake for about 30 minutes, do a toothpick test.
  5. Let the cake cool down. Thinly trim the edges and cut the cake into cubes.
  6. Glaze:
  7. Melt the chocolate and sugar in the saucepan on the stove, stirring constantly. When the mixture has liquefied, add the milk and bring to the boil while stirring. Reduce the heat and stir in the butter, simmer for about 3 minutes.
  8. Chop the coconut flakes in the blender even more. Dip the cake cubes in the glaze, which has cooled down a little but is still very warm. All sides must be covered with the glaze. Then turn the cubes in the desiccated coconut until all sides are covered with the desiccated coconut.
