- 100 g bacon cubes, smoked, or bacon slices
- 150 g cheddar cheese, rated, alternatively cheddar slices
- 60 g butter
- salt and pepper
- 1 bunch chives
- 2 cups sour cream

- Loaded Potato Skins are a snack idea from North America. Quickly and easily prepared, they serve as a small snack between friends, as a party snack or on the grill buffet.
- Carefully wash the potatoes, boil in the skin, leave to cool. Grate the cheddar.
- Finely dice the bacon, fry and set aside (or fry the bacon slices, allow to cool and crumble).
- Mix the sour cream with half of the chives and divide between four ramekins / bowls. Decorate with a few chives rolls.
- Preheat the oven to 200 ° Celsius.
- Halve the potatoes and hollow out with a spoon or ball cutter. The potato wand should not be thicker than 0.5 to 1 cm. Place the potato halves with the hollowed-out side facing up on a lightly greased baking sheet. Salt and pepper.
- Put a pinch of butter, some grated cheddar cheese and a few bacon bits in each half. Then put the baking sheet in the oven and bake until the cheese bubbles.
- Sprinkle the hot potato skins with chives and arrange them fairly on four plates so that there is no argument. Put a bowl of sour cream on each side and - well - just wish you a bon appetit.
