Ingredients

  • 150 g butter
  • 100 g suar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 1 egg (s)
  • some butter-vanilla flavor
  • 250 g flour

For decoration:

  • 120 g cake icin (meltin drops), yellow, approx.
  • some coconut oil
  • Whole milk couverture

Instructions

  1. Mix the butter, sugar and vanilla sugar until frothy. Add egg and flavor and stir well. Finally, gradually mix in the flour and knead everything into a smooth dough. Chill for at least 1 hour.
  2. Roll out the dough on a well-floured work surface. Cut out small round cookies and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake at 180 ° C top / bottom heat until golden yellow (depending on the size of the cutters, this takes about 5 - 7 minutes). Then let cool down completely.
  3. For the decoration, melt the yellow melted drops in the microwave with a little coconut oil. Use it to paint the round cookies yellow. If necessary, glue appropriate decorations (e.g. sugar hearts, sugar eyes) to the biscuits before drying.
  4. After drying, briefly melt the whole milk couverture in the microwave. Draw on the faces you want with a toothpick.
  5. Let everything dry very well. If the emojis are not eaten or given away straight away, it is best to store them in a sealed tin can.
