Ingredients

  • 1 liter milk
  • 6 tablespoon rice flour, heaped
  • 1 tablespoon rose water
  • Sugar to taste
  • possibly saffron or red food coloring

Instructions

  1. Stir rice flour, sugar and rose water into the cold milk, bring to the boil, stirring constantly, and cook for a few minutes to ¼ hour depending on the desired consistency. Pour into a bowl or serving dish and refrigerate.
  2. You can color this dessert nicely yellow with a little dissolved saffron; It also looks pretty when dyed pale pink with food coloring.
