  • 4 egg (s), separated

  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 400 g flour
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 500 ml buttermilk
  • vanilla or

  • some butter

Instructions

  1. First separate the eggs and beat the egg whites until stiff. Mix the egg yolks with sugar and vanilla sugar until frothy. Add the flour, baking powder and buttermilk. Fold in the egg whites and add vanilla, almonds, nuts, pistachios or chopped fruit or dried fruit as desired.
  2. Put a pinch of butter in each hollow of the small pan pan. One to two tablespoons of dough are calculated per well. Bake the wort, turning once. To check whether the dough is through, pierce it with a roulade needle.
  3. Roll the futjes in cinnamon and sugar and eat warm (by hand). If there is no futjes pan in the household, the batter is also very suitable for buttermilk waffles.
