  • 2 large kohlrabi
  • 2 egg (s)
  • salt and pepper
  • 100 g panko, alternatively breadcrumbs
  • 100 grams flour
  • 2 tablespoon pecorino, alternatively parmesan
  • oil

Instructions

  1. First peel the kohlrabi and then cut into approx. 1 cm thick slices. Now take three deep plates and whisk the whole egg with a little salt and pepper into one. Put the panko and some flour in each of the other two plates. Grate the pecorino with the panko and stir it once.
  2. Now heat the oil in the pan while breading the kohlrabi slices, turn the kohlrabi in flour and then pull it through the egg so that the slices are completely covered.
  3. Then turn everything in the panko-pecorino mixture and fry on both sides in the pan until golden brown.
