I propose to cook a delicious kulesh and treat your family to a homemade dinner. Kulesh is prepared from millet groats and lard, with the addition of meat and vegetables. This recipe for kulesha is based on meat broth, sausages, bell peppers, tomatoes. It turns out to be a fairly satisfying and very tasty first course.
Ingredients
Meat broth – 3 l
Millet groats – 0.75 cups
Hunting sausages – 250 g
Potatoes – 4 pcs.
Carrots – 1 pc.
Bulb onions – 2 pcs.
Tomatoes – 2 pcs.
Bulgarian pepper – 1 pc.
Bay leaf – 2 pcs.
Fresh parsley – 6 branches
Salt to taste
Ground black pepper – to taste
Directions
Prepare food for kolesh.
Peel and wash the potatoes and carrots. Cut the potatoes into cubes, cut the carrots into semicircles. Dip potatoes and carrots in boiling broth. Boil and simmer for about 10 minutes.
Sort out and rinse the millet. Add to potatoes. Stir and cook for about 10-15 minutes after boiling.
Peel the onion and chop finely. Peel the bell peppers from seeds, cut into thin cubes or strips. Add the onions and peppers to the soup pot.
Cut the tomatoes into small cubes. Cut the hunting sausages into slices. Add the prepared ingredients to the soup. Instead of tomatoes, you can add 1-1.5 tablespoon. tablespoons of tomato paste. Stir, bring to a boil. Cook the kulesh soup at a slow boil for 10-15 minutes.
At the end add chopped parsley or other herbs, bay leaves, ground black pepper, salt. Stir and bring to a boil. Boil for 1-2 minutes and turn off the heat. Kulesh is ready.
