  • 2 egg (s), whisked
  • 60 g flour

  • Vegetable oil for deep-frying

Instructions

  1. Finely grate the potatoes and onions. Drain in a colander and squeeze out as much liquid as possible. Transfer to a large bowl and stir in the eggs and flour. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Pour oil about an inch high in a large pan and heat. Put the dough in the hot oil, tablespoon at a time, and fry for about 2 minutes until the underside is browned. Turn and fry for another 1-2 minutes until the other side is also brown.
  3. Place the latkes on a serving plate and keep them warm in the oven at 150 ° C. When they are all fried, serve immediately and serve with applesauce.
