Ingredients

  • Pork liver – 500 g
  • Pork lungs – 500 g
  • Bulb onions – 1 pc.
  • Chicken eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Sour cream – 250 g
  • Intestines – 1 m
  • Salt – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Ground black pepper – 1/2 teaspoon

Directions

  1. Prepare the required ingredients for your homemade liverwurst sausage.
  2. Boil the liver and lungs for 25 minutes. Twist in a meat grinder. Peel the onion and also twist it in a meat grinder.
  3. Add salt and ground pepper to the liver mass.
  4. Then add two eggs.
  5. Add sour cream. Mix everything very thoroughly with a spoon.
  6. Fill the intestines with liver mass. For this purpose, you can use a special attachment in the meat grinder. (You can also fill the intestines with liverwort using the neck of a regular plastic bottle cut off to the shoulders.) Tie the edges of the sausage with a thread. Use a needle to make several punctures in the sausage. This moment is very important because if you miss it, the sausage will burst during cooking.
  7. Boil the liver sausage in boiling water for 35 minutes.
  8. Then cut the sausage into pieces and serve.
