Ingredients

  • 1 egg (s)
  • 1 glass yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ baking soda
  • flour
  • oil (e.g. sunflower oil)

Instructions

  1. Mix the egg, yogurt, salt and baking soda. Gradually knead in enough flour until you get a soft, supple dough that no longer sticks to your hands.
  2. Let this dough rest briefly and then roll out about 0.5 cm thick. Using a pastry wheel or knife, cut into small squares / diamonds (approx. 4 cm side length). Heat plenty of oil in a deep pan and fry the pieces of dough until golden brown.
  3. You can also serve hearty dips and spreads, as well as jams, honey or jellies. It is mainly prepared for breakfast.
