Ingredients

  • 2 slices bacon, lean, diced
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 can corn kernels, or 4 cooked corn on the cob
  • 1 can tomato (s), or 4 skinned tomatoes
  • 2 pepper (s), sweet
  • 250 g pumpkin pulp, or zucchini, diced
  • 500 g peas, reen
  • 4 large potatoes, diced
  • 4 tablespoon oil
  • marjoram
  • oregano
  • parsley
  • salt and pepper
  • water
  • Cheese, grated

Instructions

  1. Sweat the finely chopped onion, clove of garlic and bacon in a large shallow saucepan. Then add the peppers cut into strips, the roughly chopped tomatoes, pumpkin or zucchini, the corn kernels, the peas, salt, pepper, dried herbs and some hot water.
  2. With the pot closed, cook on a low flame for 10-15 minutes without stirring. Then add the diced potatoes and cook for another 10 minutes. Possibly add firm boiling potatoes earlier. Shake the pot from time to time.
  3. Sprinkle with finely chopped parsley and some grated cheese and apply hot.
