Ingredients

  • 1 liter wine, Greek (Retsina)
  • 10 bay leaves
  • 10 grains pepper, crushed
  • 250 g honey
  • Thyme and rosemary or
  • Anise and coriander

Instructions

  1. Pour wine into a saucepan. Add honey and spices and heat gently. Do not let it get too hot, otherwise the alcohol will evaporate. Spoon off the resulting foam. Then fill it back into the bottle with the spices.
  2. You can let it steep for a few days or drink it right away. Pass through a sieve when pouring and dilute approx. Halfway with water.
