Oatmeal with Tomatoes and Cheese

I often boil oatmeal for breakfast and this is one of my favorites. Oatmeal is delicious not only sweet! Tomatoes will brighten the flavor and cheese will add a creamy texture.

Servings: 1

Ingredients

  • Oatmeal – 80 Grams
  • Water – 280 Milliliters
  • Cheese – 40-50 grams
  • Salt – To taste
  • Red onion – 1/4 pieces
  • Cherry tomatoes – 5-7 Pieces
  • Garlic – 1 Clove

Directions

  1. Prepare all ingredients.
  2. Place a pot of water over the fire, add salt and bring to a boil. Add the oatmeal, reduce the heat and cook for 6-7 minutes.
  3. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.
  4. Fry the tomatoes with onions and garlic in a pan until soft.
  5. Add cheese and tomatoes to the oatmeal and stir gently. Cook the porridge until the cheese is melted.
