Ingredients

  • 1 bottle Prosecco Spumante
  • 210 ml liqueur, (real limoncello!)
  • 14 mint leaves
  • 14 ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Put 2 mint leaves in each of the champagne glasses, then add 2 ice cubes and 30ml limoncello each (ice-cold). Top up with Prosecco Spumante (also very well chilled).
  2. I recommend a Prosecco Spumante brut. If you prefer something a little sweeter, you can also have a Prosecco dolce Spumante. Sparkling, because the perlage remains stable for longer despite ice cream, limoncello and mint. With the Fizzante, the perlage breaks away too quickly and the quality of the Prosecco leaves a lot to be desired. A good limoncello doesn`t deserve that. With good ingredients a really tingling summer pleasure, which is a good appetite stimulant due to the existing acidity. Add a little antipasti and the evening starts well.
