Ingredients

  • 1 handful flowers (dried or fresh fragrant violets)
  • 1 bottle vinegar (wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar)
  • 0.5 ½ lemon (n)

Instructions

  1. Put the violets and the sliced lemon in a bottle and pour the vinegar over them. You can also take more violet flowers so that the bottle is filled. In any case, the flowers must be covered and must not look out from above. You leave everything in a sunny place for 1-2 weeks, then you can strain it off. If you want, you can also leave the flowers inside as a decoration.
  2. You can use the vinegar with fresh spring salads.
  3. Tip as an alternative healing treatment: For headaches, take 3 tablespoons of violet vinegar until the headache is gone. If the house recipe has no effect, a doctor should be consulted!
