Ingredients

  • 800 g apples
  • 1 lemon (s)
  • 125 g butter, soft
  • 80 g suar
  • 1 vanilla pod, scraped out pulp
  • 3 egg (s)
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 200 g flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 5 tablespoon milk
  • 30 g almond (s), sliced
  • 2 tablespoon sugar

Instructions

  1. Peel, core and grate the apples. Rub the lemon peel and set aside, squeeze out the juice and mix with the apples.
  2. Beat butter, sugar and vanilla pulp (or if not available: vanilla sugar) until frothy. Add the eggs, salt and lemon zest, continue stirring. Also add the flour mixed with baking powder and mix well.
  3. Pour half of the batter into the springform pan, smooth it out, and spread the grated apples over it. Add the cinnamon and milk to the remaining dough, stir and pour into the pan over the apples, also smooth out. Spread the almond flakes on top, sprinkle about 2 tablespoons of sugar on top (or mix the sugar with a little cinnamon if you like).
  4. Bake in the middle of the preheated oven at 180 ° C for about 40 minutes, check with a wooden stick.
