Ingredients

  • 2 kg potatoes, floury boiling
  • 1 kg sweet cream butter
  • 0.75 liters ¾ milk, warm (adjust the amount to be added according to the type potato!)
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Cook the potatoes in the skin until cooked. Press hot through a press into a large bowl. Gradually stir in butter, salt and milk (depending on the type of potato it can be more!) With a wooden spoon or a very coarse whisk. Never work with a hand blender! Pass through a very fine sieve 2 - 3 times and stir again and again.
  2. Arrange in individual portions in small bowls.
