  • 6 tomato (s)
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 2 onions)
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter, creamy
  • 2 teaspoons sambal oelek
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 2 cloves garlic)
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Steam the diced onions in oil until translucent. Roughly dice tomatoes and add. Simmer for 5 - 10 minutes until the tomatoes are soft.
  2. Add cumin, peanut butter (be sure to use the creamy version), sambal oelek, drained beans, finely sliced garlic and salt. Simmer for 3 minutes over low heat.
  3. Rice or couscous tastes good with it.
  4. Tips: I always use a wok for preparation and serve the dish with basmati rice. A little fresh coriander can be added to the stew as a little highlight when serving.
